From his roles as Assistant Principal at Cleveland High School and Tyee High School to his current position as Principal at Chief Sealth International High School, he has focused on creating safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environments.

Garcia-Morales began his career in education as a school social worker, a role that shaped his approach to leadership. Working with multilingual learners and students with IEPs, he gained invaluable insight into addressing academic and emotional needs. His early work in The Bronx allowed him to understand students' diverse challenges, reinforcing his belief in education as a tool for social justice. These foundational years gave him a deep understanding of student advocacy and the critical role of mental health in student success.
As he transitioned into school administration, Garcia-Morales continued to advocate for students. As Assistant Principal, he worked to improve school culture, ensure student safety, and promote academic rigor. Leadership at Chief Sealth International High School
In 2021, Garcia-Morales became the Principal of Chief Sealth International High School. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering a school culture that prioritizes academic excellence and mental health. Under his guidance, the school has made significant strides in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. He has ensured students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.

Entrepreneurial Experience and Community Engagement
Outside of his work in education, Garcia-Morales co-founded Rebels & Scholars, a clothing brand focused on social justice and empowering underserved students. The brand's mission was to raise scholarships for undocumented students pursuing higher education. While Rebels & Scholars was a successful venture, Garcia-Morales chose to step away to focus on his growing responsibilities as a principal. This decision reflects his commitment to the education sector and his belief in prioritizing student success above all else.
His dedication to social justice extends beyond his entrepreneurial efforts. He has supported numerous local organizations, including El Centro de la Raza, YouthCare, and FareStart. His volunteer work and financial contributions to these organizations reflect his strong belief in giving back to the community. Garcia-Morales continues to serve as a volunteer with the Union Gospel Mission and the Washington State Department of Corrections, where he provides mental health support and works to improve the well-being of those in need.
